A fateful meeting...

Summoned from the golden medallion that Vesper wears, Corrick is about to pluck her from falling through ice. Something our young adventurer doesn't expect! I really love the struggles between these two in trying to forge something of a couple. After all, Corrick's been around for thousands of years, untouchable, all but unstoppable, but, under it all, a force for good. As the book reads "Between his silent hostility and general irritation for everything, Corrick just *oozed* comfort". For tough-as-nails Vesper, he sure does. [I'm sold!]
