A Little Hope Left

The painting is about how it feels to drift off the road, into the weeds -- all the anxiety that being helpless, lost, and seriously ill can bring. The last ray of light is hope in those times, and she still has a little of that miracle left. The red butterfly leaving her may be a little obvious, but hope does leave you at times, making it all the more critical to hold on to what you have left so that you can find your way back to the person you once were. 🦋
